This is using SVG images so I can change their colors, in the example I am just alternating them, however I can change them to be anything I want. This is basically a proof of concept to show it is possible to do something like this without flash.
This is STEP 1 of the process. This proves that I can definitely do things the way I want to and we can create something similar.
STEP 2 of the process would be actually making colors selectable, however I don't see why that would be a problem, all I have to do is create some swatches and then apply the same logic to the swatches that I did to the buttons.
Then we'd be on to STEP 3, which would be taking this logic and build it into a form that people could fill out and submit so we could get the information.
STEP 4 would be incorporating all the additional touches like the logo swap out and the different jersey choices.
Finally, STEP 5 would be adding the name on the back of the jersey and seeing how we could incorporate this into a form builder because we'd need some kind of repeater, so people could add multiple players.
I guess the next things to discuss are budget and timeline, let's see if we move forward :-)
